AMP-CV 625
Description
AMP-CV 625 is a broad-spectrum beta-lactam antibiotic combination containing Amoxycillin and Potassium Clavulanate. It is designed to overcome beta-lactamase–producing bacterial resistance.
Amoxycillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to cell lysis and death. Potassium Clavulanate is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects Amoxycillin from enzymatic degradation, thereby restoring its activity against resistant strains.
This combination provides effective coverage against Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and anaerobic organisms. It is widely used in respiratory, urinary, skin, soft tissue, and dental infections.
